DISTRIBUTION OF TURNOVER

The group has realised 88 % of its turnover via export activities, i.e. the same level as last year. European exports have further increased to 66 % of total turnover and exports outside Europe have dropped to 22 % of total turnover.

Export deliveries to both North and South America have been generated through the Aerospace gear manufacturer Caratron Industries Inc. at 46 % of total volume for this market (same in 2004). A growing 35 % of deliveries towards this market have been achieved through the industrial gears division, including the deliveries of railway gearboxes for the North American market. Exports by the divisions Glass Engineering and Glass Moulds account for respectively 10.5 % and 8.5 %.

Exports in the Far and Middle East have been generated for 72 % through the glass engineering divisions.
